Technical Committees

ISMA is inviting specialists who have relevant expertise to join the technical committees.  If you are interested in serving the mandate of ISMA in seed morphology and identification, please fill up the Application From and submit the form to the technical committee chair or the vice chair of the Executive Board.

Editorial Board

Seed Identification Guide (SIG) is a web-based virtual publication registered under the ISBN system with the registration number of  ISBN 978-1-7753419-0-1. The editorial board of the SIG has the following functions:

  • Ensure the reliability of the information provided for publication in Seed Identification Guide.
  • Conduct and organize peer-review of data that has been submitted for publication.
  • Develop resources for authors who are interested in publishing their seed morphology or identification knowledge or research in Seed Identification Guide.
  • Identify, invite and promote collaborations and research to fill gaps and priorities in seed morphology and identification.

The digital tool committee is to promote the development of digital tools and to provide resources for digital tool development in seed identification.
